The Faucēs prints were Claire’s response to having tonsillitis. Fascinated by the body’s inflammatory response, she photographed her tonsils over a series of days. The aim was to explore and illustrate the beauty in an unexpected place. Focusing in abstracts the imagery and changes it into something otherworldly.
